About Us

Our story is a funny but unique one I’m sure.  My Grandfather owned a 1947 Oldsmobile Dynamic sedan similar to ours, which is where my adoration for them comes from. 

You would be hard pressed to find another automobile with the gracious curves that this model has. Curves on compound curves with fenders so large they exaggerated them into the doors. Just about the only flat surfaces on this car is the glass.  Styling you simply cannot find anymore and art in motion no doubt.

After finding our first car advertised online, and seeing it once myself first, I decided that I needed to take my wife to see it in person also.  She was less impressed than me, and kept asking me what we would use the car for.  After also not being impressed with the standard answers of car show and cruising to get ice cream, I was running short on ideas and obviously losing the battle.  On a last whim of desperation, I told her that if we owned the car that long, and if she wanted that I would love to drive our daughter to her wedding in the car.  I had scrounged and dug deep.  There was only a half second or so pause, when my wife simply smiled and said “buy it.” 

I wish I could take credit for being intentional and having a carefully well thought out plan that day, sometimes you get lucky and find the right thing to say at the right moment.

After a few Sunday drives, cruising the country back roads looking at fall colors, and of course the occasional ice cream run, the seed had been planted and an idea was born.
